NEW YORK, NY — July 22, 2026 — WireScreen, the premier China-focused risk intelligence platform, today announced that Wayne McCool, former Associate Deputy Director for Analysis at the Central Intelligence Agency (CIA), has joined the company's Advisory Board.
McCool brings more than three decades of intelligence experience, including senior leadership positions at the CIA. As Associate Deputy Director for Analysis, he oversaw the quality and integrity of intelligence analysis, the professional development of thousands of analysts, and the adoption of advanced technologies across the Directorate of Analysis. He is widely known for leading the CIA's digital transformation of intelligence analysis, integrating data science, artificial intelligence, and modern analytic tools into the intelligence workflow while reinforcing the rigorous tradecraft that underpins objective analysis. Earlier in his career, he served as Chief of Analysis for the CIA's Near East Mission Center, directing intelligence analysis during a period of significant geopolitical instability across the Middle East and Africa.
