Eligibility & Geographic Restrictions

‍Geographic Availability: The Services are not authorized for use, and may not be accessed, from within mainland China, Hong Kong, or Macao. Any access or attempted access from these jurisdictions via VPN, proxy, or other automated means is a material breach of these Terms and will result in immediate termination of access.

Acceptable Use

Content made available on or through the Services (including but not limited to, articles, reports, illustrations, videos, datasets, etc.) is intended for individual research use, and may not be modified, reproduced, or distributed unless expressly authorized in separate written agreements with us or as outlined in Section 4 below.

Visitor and user rights and obligations under the Terms may not be transferred, assigned, shared, or sold. You will be held responsible for all activity associated with your account, including but not limited to violations of the Terms. Any sharing of account credentials or passwords will result in immediate suspension.

Any violation of the Terms, real or perceived, may result in suspension of access to the Services. We reserve the right to suspend or terminate access to the Services at any time for any reason.

Journalist, Media, and Trial User Authorization

If you have been granted complimentary, trial, or special promotional access to the Services as a practicing journalist, researcher, or media professional, your use is subject to the following specific permissions and limitations:

Permitted Professional Use: You are expressly authorized to utilize the insights, data points, and information retrieved from the Services for standard newsgathering, factual reporting, and journalism purposes, including publication in commercial news outlets.
Attribution: When referencing data or unique insights derived exclusively from the platform in published work, you agree to provide appropriate credit to WireScreen.ai.
Strict Individual Limitation: This access is granted solely to you as an individual professional. You may not share your login credentials, passwords, or access with other members of your newsroom, colleagues, or institution.
No Bulk Redistribution: While you may cite specific data points or individual findings in your reporting, you are strictly prohibited from publishing, redistributing, or repackaging raw datasets or systemic portions of the WireScreen database.

Copyright Protections

The Services, and all content or elements comprising the Services are protected by copyright, pursuant to U.S. and international copyright laws.

Unauthorized copying or harvesting of the information of our users or content in the Services is prohibited under the Terms. Such prohibited behaviors include but are not limited to:

Any modifying, republishing, reproducing, distributing, displaying, or otherwise exploiting any part or element of the Services beyond individual reporting use.
Any attempt to disassemble or reverse-engineer any part of the Services, including any underlying software.
Any scraping, spidering, or other automated means of collecting information.
Any attempt to interfere with the Services or the activities of our users.

Access, collect, scrape, extract, index, copy, reproduce, republish, distribute, display, or otherwise use the Content or any data from the Services by automated means (including without limitation bots, spiders, crawlers, scripts, robots, scrapers, or similar tools or processes) for any purpose beyond normal individual human access.

Use, train, fine-tune, evaluate, benchmark, test, develop, improve or otherwise employ the Content or any data or metadata from the Services in connection with any machine learning, artificial intelligence, generative AI, neural network, large language model, or similar system, model, algorithm, or process, including without limitation for the generation, synthesis, enrichment, annotation, transformation, or derivation of any dataset or output.

Provide, make available, distribute, publish, or otherwise share any Content or data from the Services (including derived or aggregated data) to any third party for any of the purposes described above.

We expressly reserve all rights to license or permit any use of the Services, Content, or data for automated extraction, machine learning, artificial intelligence, or related purposes, and nothing in these Terms grants you any rights to do so except as may be expressly agreed in a separate written agreement with us.

Any unauthorized use of the Services in violation of this section constitutes a material breach of these Terms and may result in suspension or termination of access, legal action, and any other remedies available at law or in equity.

Upon giving your express consent to enter into a paid service agreement with us, we may collect all or part of the payment amount, including any applicable taxes, at any time, pursuant to the terms of the service agreement.

DISCLAIMER OF WARRANTIES AND LIMITATION OF LIABILITY

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY APPLICABLE LAW, THE SERVICES ARE PROVIDED WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND. THE SERVICES ARE PROVIDED “AS IS” ON AN “AS AVAILABLE” BASIS, AND ARE USED AT YOUR OWN RISK.TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY APPLICABLE LAW, THE WIRE DIGITAL, ITS AFFILIATES AND SUBSIDIARIES, AND OTHER PARTIES INVOLVED IN OFFERING THE SERVICES WILL NOT BE HELD LIABLE FOR ANY DIRECT OR INDIRECT DAMAGES RESULTING FROM OR AS A CONSEQUENCE OF THE USE, MISUSE, OR INABILITY TO USE THE SERVICES, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO:

ANY INVESTMENT OR FINANCIAL DECISIONS VISITORS OR USERS MAKE AS A RESULT OF INFORMATION ON OUR SITE OR PLATFORMS WE MANAGE.

ANY USER CONTENT OR THE CONDUCT OF THIRD PARTIES.
ANY ERRORS OR OMISSIONS, MISTAKES, OR INACCURACIES OF CONTENT.

THIS LIMITATION OF LIABILITY APPLIES WHETHER THE ALLEGED LIABILITY IS BASED ON CONTRACT, TORT, NEGLIGENCE, STRICT LIABILITY, OR ANY OTHER BASIS, EVEN IF THE WIRE DIGITAL HAS BEEN ADVISED OF THE POSSIBILITY OF SUCH DAMAGE.
